Recharge yourself in DS 166. 

While designing this organically shaped armchair, I was inspired by exotic fruits. Mangos, bananas and other tropical fruits have modelled for this novel sitting sculpture. The body-embracing exterior is like a protective shell that offers comfort and safety. 

The design of DS 166 was made possible by the use of ground breaking moulding and upholstery techniques.The craftsmanship and love of sitting-culture with which the upholsterers of de Sede fashioned my design is evident in every one of these models. 

The result is an extraordinary, comfortable sitting sculpture.
