The ancient theme “enlarging the dining table” has been newly interpreted and inventively resolved in Calbuco. Under the table top you will discover a secret; you can simply enlarge this table by sliding the tops apart. In the compartment underneath, you will find the extra table tops which, after applying pressure, lift up and are ready to be folded out. That’s all there is to it.
The small form of the table is suitable for intimate dinners with 2 to 4 people, while its adjusted size allows for the hosting of dinners up to 8 guests.
Calbuco stands on a leg of powder coated steel and a cylinder of veneer or lacquer. The lowest point of the table (at the hidden compartment) measures 67 cm. This ensures that most dining chairs can be normally drawn up.
Calbuco is available in multiple types of wood and various colors of lacquer.
